Sanhe City is subordinate to Hebei Province and is located in the triangle zone of Beijing, Tianjin and Tang Dynasty. It borders on Tongzhou in Beijing in the west, borders Ji County in the east, connects Baodi, Xianghe and Dachang in the south, and connects Pinggu and Shunyi in the north. It now has jurisdiction over 10 towns and 5 districts (national Yanjiao High-tech Development Zone, National Agricultural High-tech Park, Industrial Development Zone, Fushan Economic Development Zone and Xinxing Industrial Park), 4 sub-district offices and 395 administrative village streets, covering an area of 643 square kilometers, of which 78 square kilometers are mountainous areas with a population of 650,000. In the past hundred years, the people of Sanhe, with a glorious revolutionary tradition, have written magnificent poems one after another and created amazing miracles on this land.

Looking back at the history, since the establishment of Sanhe Central County Committee in 1933, the Party organization of Sanhe has been developing and growing constantly in the revolutionary struggle. Under the leadership of the Party, the brave Sanhe people waged an arduous and indomitable struggle against the Japanese imperialists and the Kuomintang reactionaries, drove away the Japanese aggressors together with the people of the whole country, defeated the Kuomintang reactionaries, and ushered in the birth of the People's Republic of China. Many revolutionary martyrs came forward, shed their heads and shed their blood, and made immortal contributions to the cause of the national democratic revolution.

Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially for more than 30 years of reform and opening-up, Sanhe people have followed the foundation created by their forefathers, carried forward the spirit of “Unity, Struggle, Pioneering and Innovating”, adhered to the economic construction as the center, deepened the reform, expanded the opening up and accelerated the development, so that Sanhe has realized the great transformation from the traditional agricultural weak county to the modern economic strong city, and its comprehensive economic strength has been continuously enhanced, various social undertakings developed vigorously, and became one of Hebei’s “Top Ten” and the National “Top 100” and became a bright pearl on the land of Jingdong. Looking back on the present and the past, history has eloquently proved that without the Communist Party, there would be no new China, there would be no great socialist cause today, and there would be no happy life for the Sanhe people today.

Looking forward to the future, the future of Sanhe must be more beautiful. Looking at the development of Sanhe yesterday and today, we have reason to believe that the vast number of Party members, cadres and masses of the city will continue to carry forward the fine traditions of the Party and the spirit of the revolutionary predecessors who are not afraid of difficulties and courage, always adhere to the guiding position of Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought, hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory, implement the Thought of Three Represents, implement the Scientific Outlook on Development, fully implement the spirit of a series of important speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping, strive to make greater contributions to the Chinese nation to re-create brilliance under the encouragement of the spirit of Sanhe in the new era of "love the country, embrace all rivers, dare to take responsibility, and be the first", under the leadership of the Party Central Committee and the Sanhe Municipal Committee, unite and work hard.
