Message from the curator:
Welcome to the Sanhe Museum.
This is a comprehensive museum bearing and reflecting the history and culture of Sanhe. Since its establishment, we have always been based on the protection of cultural heritage and committed to the dissemination of excellent culture to stimulate the public participation and love. This is a public cultural space integrating appreciation and innovation. In the museum, the permanent exhibition of “Far from the Linju and ancient remains in Sanhe” takes the historical development process of the Sanhe as the main line, 633 pieces of cultural relics are displayed to the public through exhibition and display, so as to convey the long and profound heritage of the Sanhe. We also hold different theme exhibitions from time to time to present civilizations in different regions and in different periods to the audience, so as to reproduce the process of mutual learning and cultural exchange in time and space.
This is a treasure house for the protection and utilization of cultural heritages. The collection of many cultural objects is rich, ranging from the stone tools made by prehistoric human beings to the exquisite bronze pot (Ding, Yi), from the silhouette of the city wall of Linju to the melodious bells of the Liao and Song pagodas, all of which convey the diligence and wisdom of the ancients.
If architecture and collections are seen as tangible museums, websites and social media are another kind of intangible museum, a cultural landscape that breaks the boundaries of time and space. It is a functional extension of the museum, providing a public platform for participation, interaction and sharing.
So, whether you're in the field, in the cultural space of the museum, or using our rich digital resources online, you're also a witness and participant in the evolution of civilization and cultural heritage. We will join hands with you to build a common, co-built and shared museum.
Li Wei, Curator of Sanhe Museum
