Sanhe Museum is located in Building A, Sanhe Cultural Center, covering an area of 1400 square meters. The construction was started in June 2014, completed in December 2016, and opened for trial operation on May 18, 2017.
Sanhe Museum is a comprehensive museum of history and art, which integrates the function of protection, collection, exhibition, education, appreciation and research of cultural heritage. The museum takes the historical development time of Sanhe as the axis, and the unearthed cultural relics and ruins of various periods as nodes, to comprehensively restore the history of Sanhe, which is also a historical exhibition hall of Sanhe. There are four parts: preface hall, general history exhibition hall, folk custom exhibition hall and tail hall. There are more than 600 cultural relics and exhibits on display in the museum, the oldest of which can be traced back to the ancient ivory and deer horn fossils, and the latest is the modern old folk objects. The museum exhibits not only the material cultural heritage representing the long history of Sanhe, but also the intangible cultural heritage representing the wisdom of the sons and daughters of Sanhe.
Sanhe Museum is a window to comprehensively display the history and culture of Sanhe, a business card representing the history and culture of Sanhe, and an important position for inheriting the excellent Chinese traditional culture, cultivating socialist core values and strengthening the construction of socialist spiritual civilization.
